I say set them free. Burn all the fucking zoos all over d world, set all d animals free. Shut down all the captive breeding programs.

Zoos are pathetic. How can they be justified? Putting animals on display for our sick entertainment. “For the kids” my ass.

Its plain human selfishness.

And ironically animals like tigers, rhinos and pandas are kidnapped from the wild, against their will, and imprisoned for breeding coz we’re afraid they get extinct!

So what? Let them go extinct. We fucked-up, period. We throw them in prison coz we dont want them to die?? Haha! Shows how dumb and egoistic humans can be.

Why torture them for our mistakes? Let them die free.

Its been quite a year! Met quite a few interesting people thanks to it. Checked out a lotta joints too, and had many great booze sessions.

Night Train Express disappeared and reappeared, but i’m definitely not gonna get absolutely derailed like i did before! Ridiculous. The one and only 10/10 brain damage incident!

Had great times on the road, especially Laos & Sarawak. And KKB of course.

On the booze front, smaller outlets are doing well. Happy hours have picked up, as has weekday drinkin. More chicas are doin happy hours too, and doin lager/stout.

No-smoking outlets did not pick-up, thank god. If we ever become like Singapore, i’d probably quit goin out, tho i’m not a smoker. If u gonna party, u gotta party right, right?

Workers at Carlsberg’s HQ in Denmark could drink beer (for free obviously) during work anytime. Until a coupla weeks ago, when the company changed the rules. So the workers are on strike of course. Haha! Now its beer during lunchtime only.

Supplies in Malaysia wont be affected

“The warehouse and production workers in Denmark are rebelling against the company’s new alcohol policy, which allows them to drink beer only during lunch hours in the canteen. Previously, they could help themselves to beer throughout the day, from coolers placed around the work sites.”

Thats too bad.

I guess people who drink during worktime have a tough time hiding it. Of course one or two drinks is fine, but more than that, there’s trouble. Firstly, there’s the physical appearance – change in face colour, walking / talking different. And the main killa – the aroma of alcohol. Kinda hard to hide dat one! U dont even have to talk to give away. Just breathe.

Not many jobs allow u to drink during work. Some bars allow their staff to have a few. Some ad agencies too. My old job actually required me to do that sometimes, when i was writing for The Star (WeekEnder). Wine-tastings, booze appreciation, launches, etc. And if these were in d morning/lunchtime, get back to work wasted of course. All legit.
