8pm my ass. Went on till 11

It was the media launch actually. Kicked off at 5pm, with ice-cold beers – all served in huggaz of course, to ensure they remain ice cold.

Didnt take many pix unfortunately. Busy partying n shit.

The beer koozies / coolers / stubby holders are available for both cans and bottles, while the wine carriers (Wino Series) are for single or double wine bottles. All products are made of high-quality neoprene, as opposed to soft foam, which is ol skool shit. Neoprene is the dive-suit material. Durable and efficient.

It’s good, coz there’s nothing worse than a warm beer, especially once you’ve had more than half. Unprotected beers warm up real quick in our weather.

All products can be customized for events, or parties like weddings.

The merchandize are machine-washable too.

huggaz beer coolers and wine carriers

A new accessory for drinkers has hit our shores, and about time too. The brand is huggaz, and it’s about insulation products.

Tropical heat + insulation = good idea.

When it comes to beers, especially in tropical / summer weather, keeping ’em nice n cold is tough. With huggaz, that’s no issue anymore.

Chillin

The coolers (also known as koozies/sleeves/condoms/sarongs) are made of 3.5mm neoprene, which is scuba-suit material. It’s durable, efficient and long-lasting. Neoprene does a better job than foam koozies, which are more common, but less effective.

After using them a few times, i wonder how i ever went without these babies. Beers stay cold all the way to the end! Nutin worse than warm beers, especially after the half-can stage.

Used ’em at Urbanscapes 2013 all day.

There’s always a couple handy in my car now. The can coolers from the Road Series are foldable – useful for travelling and events.

There’re koozies for beer cans and beer bottles, and there’re decorative wine carriers.

Essential for BBQs, music festivals, picnics, beach holidays, road trips, and more.

The beer bottle koozies (Bomb Series) comes with a zipper for a snug fit.

The wine tote bags (Wino Series) make good carriers, insulators, as well as gifts. You could give somebody a bottle of wine together with the huggaz bag as a gift package. All products are machine-washable and should last a long time. The print quality is great.

These keep wine chilled for about an hour. Also prevents breakages in transit.

A wine journey

Wine Journey is a regular wine education session by Wine Daddy. No, it’s not a pimp, but a tutor who takes a small class over a couple of hours.

The Wine Daddy is Prakash, who has the sessions at Sanctuary@7, his awesome residence in Damansara Heights, KL. I had the opportunity to checkout his wine cellar. Very nice. I plan to go back there when he’s out.

Wine briefing

Wine briefing

The sessions, which are kinda weekly, are basically wine education and appreciation, and they organize introductory and more advanced tasting sessions to educate the wine palates of both the budding as well as the more experienced wine enthusiast.

It starts with the various types of wines there are. Then it moves on to the various regions around the world, as well as has how to nose and taste wines.

It’s interactive, and groups are small. Questions are always asked.
